Her leadership has created a platform for Salvadoran-Canadians to connect with their roots and discover their identity. Additionally, her involvement with initiatives like El Salvador Vibrante in Edmonton has paved the way for her work with the association, where she continues to guide the efforts of building a stronger, more united Salvadoran community in Canada.

Alicia's dedication to helping others extends beyond cultural celebration. In March 2025, she participated as a model in the Kidney Gala Foundation, contributing to a vital fundraiser. That same month, she organized a food drive benefiting Hope Mission, Youth Emergency Shelter, and iHuman Youth Society, where her efforts helped distribute over 500 burritos, tacos, and quesadillas from Chipotle Mexican Grill, showcasing her commitment to supporting those in need.

Her hard work has earned her widespread recognition, with congratulatory scrolls from the Mayor of Edmonton, Amarjeet Sohi, Premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith, and MLA's Janis Irwin and Lizette Tejada, celebrating her contributions to the community. The Mayor himself attended the first event hosted by the El Salvador Cultural Association, which was sold out, further highlighting Alicia's impact on the cultural landscape.

In addition to her community work, Alicia is the founder of La Cultura Entertainment, a platform that gives upcoming Canadian artists the opportunity to showcase their talents. Through this initiative, she has interviewed and promoted numerous artists, filling a much-needed gap in the local cultural scene. Her efforts have also earned recognition from Tonio Skits, a digital creator known internationally for his comedy skits with nearly 2 million followers on Instagram, who commended Alicia for her dedication to elevating artists. Furthermore, Alicia has also received recognition from Tony Escoto, founder of Bayuncos and a prominent advocate for the Salvadoran community worldwide.
